Currently our Club offers Lamb, Swine, Photography, and Cloverbud projects.
In a fun, encouraging environment, our Club promotes knowledge, leadership, citizenship skills and personal development through participation in various 4-H and club activities throughout the year.
Meetings are held once a month, usually the 1st Saturday from January to September, to discuss club business and plan events. We hold additional training and activity days to support members to learn more about our projects and socialize as a club. These training sessions help members to prepare for participation in our Club Achievement Day and local fairs including the PNE in August.
During the club year, members also have the opportunity to deliver speeches, demonstrations, speak and shows and create educational displays, and participate in our District 4-H Judging Rally. We encourage members to participate to gain valuable experience and have fun at the same time.
Throughout the year we do fundraising, usually a car wash in addition to something else of the members’ choice, to support club activities. We wrap up the year with our Club Banquet and the District Banquet in October and November, where members are awarded for the hard work they have put in throughout the year.
We are a small club that has lots of fun and is always looking for future members. If you are thinking about becoming a member of this club, or would like more information, please contact the Langley District Key Leaders.
